I am on a roll making a string of Birthday Cards for October, this one is for someone who likes the arts, so I thought the paper was perfect, and all the black and cream added a good amount of drama. Not much stamping, but I did use a sentiment... the rest is paper, I love the girl with the fan with the touch of Paris in the background.... and I ripped open some new die cuts too... Enjoy!

This month's MFT Guest DT Challenge was inspiration for this card, the call was to include some rolled elements and a touch of the "rip".... so I used the Rolled Retro Flower Die, but also rolled the ends of each of the petals... and then spliced the pink paper vertically and made little downward scrolls, leaving them at different levels for a bit of extra interest... Here is a little card I made whilst experimenting with some new MFT tag products.  I have mentioned before that I like the peachy tones in this paper collection, and it comes with an excuse to reach in for the GG ink too, I will be seriously depressed the day my ink runs out on this now discontinued colour.... hopefully they will bring a similar one out soon! Here is a card with some of my new LOVE IT LOTS paper... love the cross range of pink tones in this pack, very me... although this mix is rather country feminine, thanks to the gingham and fancy old lady roses.... Here is a little card with a crooked ambition that was inspired by this week's MFT Sketch Challenge at Splitcoaststampers....  I fell into this type of crooked without too much hassle this time... has to be the new papers I used, 'cause I don't really go for anything too crooked!! Well this is the very last card that I finished off for this year's Dare to Get Dirty Challenges, and I saved one of my fave mediums until last..... PAINT!
